I have been reading about the new Perrin WI kit and was hoping to get others thoughts about it.

It appears that Perrin uses an Aquamist pump -- are these a lot more reliable than the others?

Perrin has the clogged nozzle / flow sensor as a failsafe (and low fluid level warning), but nothing else. If I go WI, I will use a ZT2 to monitor EGT and AFRs with failsafes built in, any other recommended failsafes?

What do you think about this kit vs. Snow vs. SMC vs. Aquamist?

 

I am thinking about getting this kit too because of the failsafes and the proven auquamist pump... read everything about it on their website, including the features...

You will need a primer pump to get things flowing the aquamist pump, honestly I would just the aquamist since perrin is just rebadging this anyway.

 

Looks like the pump aquamist used to offer in their old systems. I would never consider that kit, its old news with a fancy remote and a perrin sticker.

 

HFS-1 and HFS-5 PUMPS vs Perrin pumps. Both great systems. Aqumist has a hand in the design in both systems. The differance in the PUMP is the HFS-1 and HFS-5 can handle 100% meth, and the Perrin can only handle 50% meth. I was going to buy the Perrin , but I went with the aquamist. Look for my dyno numbers this week. Im installing it tuesday.
