Alot,

I have heard problems exist at partial throttle low boost ranges (road racing) where temps can really spike W/O air to air heat exchange.

Air compression is naturally hot and the water would have to be atomizing as soon as compressor starts producing.

If EGT are in check I bet the boost reponse and turbo output would be insane. I measure a 6 psi drop across I/C plumbing, not sure what amount is due to temp drop though

Pretty much would be worthless for anything other than drag racing. Muscle guys have been doing it for years on SC 8's

sounds like another interesting project.......green turbo + no intercooler

the turbo will flow unrestricted to the throttle body.......hmm..

I think Brent Rau runs an intercoolerless setup, but he runs methanol not gasoline
