I was thinking of using a agency power blow off valve, is that any good for 28+ psi with meth kit.

 

get a new stock 9 plugs and bov ?? i don't know on that .

 

stock evo 9 bov is only good to about 25psi

 

Get the Forge bov, or a Tial.

tial = VTA = not good for stock MAF cars.

Forge RS DV is my recommendation.

evo IX bov is good for about 27-28 psi at most

 

For folks that are saying the stock BOV is only good for X psi, would you please explain how you tested the BOV / determined it to be good for only X psi?

Also, what plugs should folks be using for a 9 with Meth / Alk? Thanks

 

i run a jdm mr bov(evo 9) on 27 psi on race and 24 pump daily....

 

I run 28lbs daily with meth, using ix bov, no issues what so ever, i am on stock plugs but just ordered 1 step colder. I think you would be fine with either
