Pls help me finalize my decision

Sure they do. The European cars have been running on reprogrammed ECUs for ages.
Not trying to be difficult but would really like to have a greater understanding of this... how would the tuning process take care of things if the sensor reading is not reflective of the lowered intake air temperature provided by the water/meth injection? We could simply alter the base injector duty to bring AFRs in line, but that in itself is a kludge since the amount of cooling is dependent on the proportion of the water/methanol mix, isn't it? To further complicate things intake air temperature does not rise in a linear fashion since it is dependent on many other variables like compressor/intercooler efficiency... in the final analysis all this may not be significant enough to warrant concern, but it never hurts to be too careful... thus more information would be nice.
