I just purchased a HFS-5 kit here in Italy, and now i'm going to fit it in my car, i have 1150 cc injectors, assuming to use a approx percentage of water/meth of about 20% in relation to fuel, what could be a good solution in terms of nozzle size, and even, is it better to fit one single nozzle or i should put 2 of these?
One last thing, for better atomization and performance, what's the best location for the nozzle(s), near the intercooler output or the throttle?
Thanks....

Yea I know, but I can still aim for 20% meth

Yes, the "Y". Its gotta flow.

Also, how many people do you think are spraying a jet before the intercooler and one before the tb?

We have always been recommending putting jet immediately after the intercooler but how many actually did, I do not know.

Richard -- Would you recommend just one nozzle right after the intercooler? Or would you recommend one after the intercooler and one before the TB? Most of the people I see are running just one nozzle right before the TB. Thanks

If inlet tract cooling and even cylinder distribution is important, then placong the jet as far away from the TB will achieve the result easier.

Long path promotes better induction cooling and at the same time, droplet size gets smaller as evaporation takes place.

I would rather suggest placing two jets about 6" apart soon after the intercooler for one large jet after the intercooler and four small jets for each runner for in-cylinder cooling.

If you have problems finding a hard pipe to put the jets, here are a few options:

Judging by the size of your injectors, I think you need to run two jets. Somewhere near the exit of the intercooler, 150mm apart.

You wioll probably need to take some fuel out or you will be running too rich. What is your maximum duty cycle with those injectors?

Thank you very much for your answer, as regards the jets i was thinking about using the 2 bigger ones that come with hfs-5 kit, the 0.9 and the 1 mm, for the location ok, 150 mm after the intercoller exit is not a problem.
About the duty cycle, actually i can't say, with my previous setup with gt35r turbo and stock head with hks cams i was about 70/75% max, but now with a GT4094R and a race head, with high lift tomei cams i think duty cycle will be higher, but i'm still finishing the engine, i have not certain numbers....

Richard,

Those solutions for installing the jet look very clean. Where can I buy those fittings? Also, if you install the nozzle near the exit of the intercooler; will some meth be recirculated through the turbo through the bov (assuming recirculated) when you shift?
