dont do washer fluid!!!!!! your injecting it INTO your engine

you want either distilled water (not tap water, it has minerals in it and can eventually clog the lines/filters/nozzles, or methanol. i've tuned cars on 100% water, 50/50, 25/75 and 100%methanol. the 100% methanol tune can take the most boost and shows the most power generally, but it is also pretty expensive at 5 a gallon. granted you don't go through nearly as much as you will with race gas or even 93.

oh and distilled water is less then 50 cents a gallon at walmart... so if cost and convenience is an issue, that should keep you covered. i run 26psi on my stock turbo with 100% water, aggressive timing, and no knock. i managed 28psi with a 50/50 mix on stock turbo, and i've ran up to 32 psi on 100 meth with stock turbo. all of these were with the HFS-5 system. note that this is only the spike, with stock turbo it tapers to about 23-24 psi at 7000. with an evo green and 100% meth we ran 30psi and even that tapered to about 26-27 psi. using a AVCR and the HFS-5. with a 50 trim, we ran 28psi tapering to 26psi (but he said it was due to a massive boost leak that hes sense then fixed... AEM EMS, HFS-5 and a EBC at 25% water/75% meth.

well I want the most power possible so 100% meth it is and are there stores that supply it other than race shops. For instance you can get toulene or zylene at Sherwin Williams paint stores so it's convenient.

I figure I'll run my existing 93 octane tune most of the time then when I want more power I'll load up the meth tune and turn on the system as needed. Any problems with my plan? or I suppose I could leave it armed 24/7 for kill mode and maybe that'll finally convince me to keep my foot out of it some since I'll feel like I'm wasting meth $

yeah yeah, I'm a newb when it comes to meth, I've fought using any additives for years but I've come to the conclusion that I'm not going to go anywhere fast on pump gas 93.

get a electronic boost controller and sell the MAC valve and MBC. that way you can run high and low boost with the meth always on. plus you will have the failsafe without having more vacuum lines, parts etc. you can set the low boost setting to say, 20-21 psi, and the high boost to 30 psi. you'll use far less meth at 21 then at 30. plus you can actually have it turn on around there and with some precision tuning you can get both low and high boost tunes in one map.

100% meth for me.
I have a meth off switch also an Non meth map...28psi daily for me w/ meth. Mac Valve as my boost switch failsafe...works very very well. I don't like driving without meth so I very seldom use my non meth map.

Honestly u can get the GM 3 port solenoid to replace the MAC valve they are readily avaliable and I can give you locations for both parts you need to get so u can activate the failsafe to low boost

haha exactly, I'm saying now that I might want to run without meth daily driving so i won't waste it but who am I kidding. The first time I feel 30psi on meth on this setup I probably will have a damn hard time going back to pump gas.

I had a nasty 200.00+ a month c16 addiction with my Stealth and I didn't drive it every day. Going from 700awhp to 550 on pump sucked ***

My system is set to start kicking in the juice (50/50) at about 12 PSI, and with that I boost to a touch over 27 PSI on my high-boost setting. I generally leave the system armed, and still get three tanks of gas to four liters of juice (yeah, I'm getting old).

Even on the track, I only used about 1.5 liters in a 20 minute session.

Meth is cheap fun.

When I do not want to run full power, I just flip the switch on my DDS-3, and it's wastegate pressure for me.

30psi with your mod list + 100% meth...and appropriate tuning.... "you need how many eggs honey? ....gone... zzzZZZZOom

My mods minus the CAMS, and turbo...the car is just ugly fast

She used to ask me why I needed 700awhp and my response was always that I need 700awhp to help me get to work on time

yep, the HSF-5 is on the way, never did hear back from flambeau about ordering tanks, I'll give them another try tomorrow then I'm ordering from somewhere else. thus far I'm not impressed, I tried 3 different phone numbers, left vm on each and sent e-mail and couldn't' buy a tank to save my life.

Probably should have dropped the "Abner sent me aka Slowcar" lol

no response from flambeau after my various vm and emails yesterday. I called again and left two vm this morning on separate lines and finally spoke to the operator and said "I have money in my hand I'd like to give your company, is there anyone that wants it? "

finally got to a live person and they took my order. got the meth tank on the way, it ships out tomorrow, it's hell placing an order with flambeau and even calling in before 10am they can't ship it until the next day... wtf.

I just checked with a local Mustang shop called BB&T they sell it for 5.00 a gallon if you bring a container but they also sell it in vp jugs (didn't bother pricing that)

I figure I'll run up there with a 5gallon can like I used to do when I bought c16 from them.

I wonder how long that 6quart tank of methanol will last at 30psi on an evogreen setup. 1 tank of gas or more?
