You really need a tune for meth.

The meth acts as an octane booster and is burned as fuel. Think of adding meth without a tune like running 100 octane and adding a lot more fuel. You would never put injectors on a car and not tune it so the same goes for meth.

What are you thinking about doing? Why would you like to avoid a tune?

adding meth without a tune is like buying race gas without upping the boost to take advantage. If you current tune is rich enough, you may encounter some knock..don't waste running meth without a tune.

not that i dont want to tune it. I def plan on tuning it. Its just that i installed the snow performance meth kit and i was wondering if i could run it on no tune until i do so

 

do a few pulls, make sure everything is working/sprayng, no leaks - pull the fuse to it - reinstall on the tune day, get tuned.

what size nozzle and what mixture u runing?

 

yea thats a good call^ i dont know exactly how big the nozzle was, it was the middle of the 3 they provided. its a 50/50 distilled water and dnatured alky, but i plan on running meth for the tune

more methanol = greater latent heat/octane enhancement = safer...with failsafe
