Oil Change Evo 9 Mr
Just bough a brand new evo 9 mr. couple of questions since I;m new to this forum please forgive me… want to know what’s the best way to break-in the engine.. also would like to know after how many miles I should do the first oil change.. should I go by the owner manual?

But hey its all good i guess since you are new.
I did my first change at 500M. and then drove it a lil hard and changed it at 1500. after that its all you. i change my oil frequently since i car of the longevity of the engine. but hey good luck and like nofear said...............

you can't change the oil too often. Once at 500 to 1000 miles is a good idea. For breakin, vary the revs without going over say 5000 max for the first 1000 miles. Do not put most of the miles on the interstate with the cruise set.
