If you have an SMC kit or AN lines we will soon have a version with AN fitting adaptors on the website, IFS-20.

Best regards,

Dan

I have TTP meth kit with zeitronix for my failsafe, can i also run this one too?

Yes, it is also compatible with zeitronix AUXILLARY INPUT 0-5V high and low voltage warning triggers.

So in essence you would have protection in the following areas:

1. Exhaust Gas Temperature too hot- trigger boost reduction

2. If boost > 22psi AND TPS> 70% AND AFR 12.5>- trigger boost reduction

3. If methanol flow speed <XX.X voltage - trigger boost reduction

SlowCar uses such an extensive protection system with ZEITRONIX products.

would it be possible to make the low/high failsafe trigger limits programmable by the end user? maybe in the next product revision

We MIGHT be able to do this in ECUflash later on with the new Falisafe patches we're working on by having the ability to set a low and high input voltage value. Ideally, as TTP mentioned, the easiest and in my opinion, best way is to use a Zeitronix wideband )2 setup with the +5v User input. You can set the alarm trigger output to switch to safer fuel/timing/boost maps if your AFR, EGT's,Boost Level and Flow sensor exceed your set parameters.

Good stuff coming up for Alky users this summer. Gonna be a safe alternative on the Evo's for sure.

There's actually a dial on the back of our failsafe where you get the set the flow point. If the flow drops below that set point, the 12V signal will trigger (light, boost bypass kit, etc.)

is there another dial for high flow trigger, eg leak between FS and nozzle or nozzle popped off? Dan mentioned awhile that your FS works exactly like the aquamist dds3.

No, none for the high flow. I think if it goes over a certain amount, it triggers the 12V signal. Dan will have to confirm this, however.

i was more interested in the high flow point.

i read from a post from labonte that the high point was around 2000 ml/min which seems to high for me.

ideally i would like to set the high flow trigger to ten or fifteen percent higher than my max flow

I'll ask Dan to see if there's any way we can adjust it.

I'll keep you updated.
