Need HELP! Oversized hole for HSF-5 nozzle holder

Well I drilled and tapped both my holes. One of them is dead on, but the other is oversized. My UICP hose is the ETS version so I know it steel, but what are the nozzle holders made of? I'm assuming they are stainless steel? If they are then I plan on just getting the other one welded into the UICP. Please let me know. Anyone?

What I did is I had a bung welded in instead of just tapping it. I feel this is safer than just tapping it because there is more contact threads. Just go down to Ace Hardware and find the right piece and take it to a good heliarc welder for a good weld. I did this for a N2O nozzle but I bet it will work for you.

Oversize is better than undersize, Loctite and fill loose thread. The adaptor is made in Brass, nickel plated.

Ensure the hole is free of grease. use plenty of loctite. a high strength one is preferred such as loctitie 648.

You cannot weld Brass to steel.

Thanks Richard. I'm using the red lock tight. I got it in there with lots of lock tight.
