Important update on aquamist tank hole size...

Water tank hole size should be 23mm and not 22mm.

I have heard reports from two sources the the compression fitting for the tank level switch is not sealing properly. Overtightening only made matter worse. The smaller end of compression seal tends to flip outwards and loose all the sealing properties.

I have spoken to the sensor manufacturer today and was advised to go for a 23mm hole to avoid the compression seal doing a back-flip. I was surprised to hear this but nevertheless I pass it on. We have been using the same sensor since 1997.

On hind sight, I guess the bigger the hole, the less stress is applied to the compression seal, thus less likely to flip.

I would apply the same to the tank adaptor also.

I apologise for the inconverience. For those who have not experienced any leaks, do not try to mend.
