Thats what I've found out so far...............no one makes copper spark plugs for the Evo 9 I guess I'll attemp to re-gap the Denso Iridiums..........wish me luck.

Let us know how it works out for you. I was going to go with some one step colder Denso plugs as well. I just hope they don't blow out with a smaller gap.

with a functioning DLI and a .28 gap on a healthy plug he is not blowing out the spark

1. Your DLI could be acting up. we do not even carry them anymore beacuse of the failure rate they have
2. If you are pushing the meth test button and the car is not changing in idle or in its A/F mitxture then the methanol kit is not working correctly.
3. Try bypassing the DLI with the stock ignition to see if it gets any better. If it does but the car still misses, lower the boost. If that cleans it up you know your DLI is the culprit and that the factory ignition cant take 28Psi

The fact that your meth Test button does not change the A/F readings at all is not a good sign though

I'll pray to the EVO GOD and hope that its just my spark plugs are gapped too wide. I'd be pretty upset if its my HKS DLI acting up, considering I just purchased it 2 weeks ago. If it was my HKS DLI would it not break up at 24psi as well? My Evo runs pretty strong at 24psi w/ meth

I just gaped my stock plugs at .020. The idle is a little more lopy but ,when you hit the gas it feels more smooth than before but, the engine light still came on???

Any more suggestions?
different plug?
new ignition?
turn boost down?

The car runs and feels fine but, I just don't like driving around with this light on!

HELP??
