Thats funny to hear as when I was at Buschur last they had copper IX plugs

 

Oh well.........that really suxs........considering I $95 for a set of Greddy iridium spark plugs

i get that same prob every once in a while not all the time. 4th gear roughly around 28psi or so give or take. and it makes that little back fire nose like when the spark gets blown out. stock ignition is only good for how much now? if the HKS/DLI is crap then what do you prefer then? MSD DIS-2? oh yeah i am running BR8SE NGK the guys at buschur racing told me to run them kind of plugs gaped at 24.

so It looks like I gained 1whp from the IX turbo compared to you

 

I think this is a can of worms. We have sensors everywhere and our stock ecu picks up any little thing. Something that has nothing to do with the motor the ecu can pick it up and it can make you thow the po300 code??? who knows man.

 

I never had a problem till I got tuned for 100% meth. thought it was cause i was pushin 30 psi but I still get the code at idle or driving normal????

 

That's news to me, as I've seen multiple posts by individuals on here stating that there aren't any copper plugs available for the Evo IX. Do you know who is making them and what the part number is?

 

Alright boys and girls...........I put down 404AWHP and 360AWTQ on a Dyno Dynamic Dyno on 26psi of boost with meth/water injection.

Prior going to dyno I pulled out my old Denson Spark plugs they were pre gapped at .031

Installed my Greddy Iridium which were pre gapped to .027 .....no miss fire at all!

I still have a few thinks to do to be able to run 30psi....Thanks to Kevin D for the tune and Abner for cheer leading

I got 1 step colder plug -BPR8ES- gapped at .020 still a mis than .018 no issues yet but we will see. I keep you guys updated.
