Predicting Nozzle Size (HFS-5)

I am having trouble predicting the correct nozzle size for the HFS-5 system.

I understand the formula involved, however I know I will be raising my boost level which will alter the IDC from what it is currently at. I have an Evo 8 with an Evo 9 turbo, 272 cams, normal bolt-on's etc...

I am currently running around 70% IDC at 22 lbs of boost, but I plan on raising it to 28-30 when I have it tuned for methanol.

Does anyone have experience with this boost level on the stock injectors on an Evo IX turbo? What type of IDC to expect and/or what nozzle are you using?

Ask slowcar (Abner), he knows that better than anyone(besides Mr Richard).

Yeah, I searched and couldn't find a suggestion anywhere. I would think that for a stock turbo with pretty average mods we could come to a consensus on IDC / Nozzle that people can consider in the future.

With the HFS-5, your injection of meth/water will mirror IDC. So, just pick the nozzle that will give you the % you're looking for. It doesn't matter what final IDC will be, since the high speed valve will mirror your IDC.

For example, for 560cc injectors, if you want 15% meth/water, then you'll need 560X4x.15= 336cc/min at about 95 psi nozzle pressure. Or a size .7 or .8 nozzle.

Yeah I'm dumb, hadn't even thought that it scales linearly like that.

Have you seen my install guide, I have a page dedicated to calculating the correct nozzle.
