Plugs for meth/35r
I just got tuned for my 35r and meth. I have one step colder densos in the car right now and the ignition was breaking up bad as hell on the dyno. I put on a sun auto ignition amp and i know they are fouled. My question is, should i just get another set of the 1 step colders or go two step with the meth? Or will that be too cold?

No i dont need an ems... they were fine, they just were fouled on the dyno cause they were gapped at .27 we took them down to .24 on the dyno and no i just need new ones.. I was just wandering if two steps colder is too cold?
rule of thumb is one step colder than stock for every 100 hp more than stock you make. This is from the NGK website.
The colder plug won't clear up the ignition miss though. That's a separate issue and it sounds like you know they were fouled.
Just another datapoint.... I'm running 30#'s boost at a gap of .022 with no miss on NGK's.

In my experience its the ignition box, the sun box is an improvement but not enough to get you what you need to keep things clean. You shouldn't have to gap plugs that low with a additional box. Also with meth or water injection you do not always want to drop plug heat levels. I have the best luck with the stock heat range on alky/meth injection.
