Aquamist Advantage

Just wanted to share my thoughts and a short video

The main advantage of an Aquamist is the flow sensor technology

Having a gauge to monitor alcohol flow is very helpful

Of course there are added features and advantages in the superior hardware, design and function but the Gauge to me is key feature

Al is there any way to utilize the failsafe of the aquamist brain box , if you are running an external wastegate with a manual boost controller?

I see how it will work with an electronic controller but I am not clear how to utilize the failsafe without some form of electronic control?

Another question is what terminal in the box is to be used as an output, that I can use to go to my AEM to have the AEM switch to a nitrous map when ever meth begins to spray ?

Yes, it will work with a manual controller easily. You will need to buy a new solenoid valve though. Valve of choice is made by Mac. Several of us are doing exactly that, running an external wastegate, manual boost controller and failsafe. Search mac valve and you'll find several threads on this, some with diagrams with how to wire it up properly, where to get the Mac valve and basically everything you need to know on how to make it work.

All the aquamist kits have the ability to activate a solinoid which can revert the car to wastegate spring pressure and in the case of AEM equiped cars switch the map to a safe mode map
