So I go to skippers (local speed shop) today to pick up some meth, the guy knows what i want because I go in there so much. He rings me up it comes to 12.96, I look @ him "hey did you make a mistake because its normally 8.56 for 2 gallons". Well i guess earlier this week he was telling me that the price of methanol went up $2 and some change a gallon, the other fuels reminded the same price. Did any of "meth head" get affected by this as well.

 

i'm getting mine from chemical supply house and they are still 32/5gal sealed drum

 

I've been shopping in the pacific northwest and getting quotes that run around $6 a gallon.

help.

i can get meth for 5, from a local speedshop but its contaminated...its straw colored...

i get meth from VP .... it was $28 + tax a 5gal drum about 3 months ago when i last bought...


im almost out of my stash so i called for aprice check and now its 38.50 + tax for a 5 gal drum

 

geez. this is the first thread ive seen anyone mention the price they actually pay for the meth. How long will 5 gallons last someone if say you daily drive and do one good highway pull per day. And also this is a little off topic but what octane fuel rating is equivalent to meth? will 100 octane get you more power than meth?

 

it depends how hard you drive... meth systems kick in based on boost... the more youre in boost (mine turns on at 12psi) the more meth youll use...

the more meth you spray, the more power youll make... the higher mix the better power some do 50/50, the real champs do 100%

meth price sux now. I paid $48.16 today for a VP 5gal drum M1. Last month is was $43..i was like "it's normally about $30 bux!?" Guy was like, "nah, prices went up along with the race gas" He showed me the book with their *new* price. It's a 30min drive for the meth...i couldn't be bothered. Today I paid the $48 and didn't even say anything. I then put half a tank of 103 because I didn't have time to stop at a regular gas station. That cost me $46 and the car feels the same ...what a waste of money. Could've had a full tank with change left over ...
