How long did your pump last on 100% meth?

For those of you that run 100% meth how long did you pump last. I asked because I heard that some fail after only 2 or 3 month. Thanks

just stay away from flojet pumps, they got a very high failure rate - reason because they are not designed to push high pressures

my shurflo pump from a snow kit thats about 6 years old. Lasted 4 years out of the 6 at 100% meth. 2 years i was using 50/50 or 70/30.... impressed. Pump still works just need to replace about 4 parts...i bought another shurflo from a friend who bought it from TTP and never used it. Works great. Pictures speak for themselves.

i want to know the same thing! i'm gonna buy the Snow Performance Stage 2 Evo kit soon and i want to run 100% meth. is the pump the only thing i'll have to worry about being worn out when running 100% meth? i might just run 75% because i was talking to Ultimate CC and he said he didnt have any performance gains when he ran 75% compared to 100%. and he said there was maybe a 5 whp difference when he ran only 50%.

I have had good luck with our kit's pumps. I wonder what kit you are running?

Anyone considering 100% methanol should PLAN on a minimum of replacement or rebuilding their pump annually.

True. Take it apart and look for wear, oxidation and rust.

keep the meth pure (ie avoid contamination such as race fuel, polar solvents like acetone, mek, mik, MeCl...) and the pump will live a long time.

Acetone will melt the whole sytem in a matter of seconds.

MEK is ver nonpolar but, yes it will ruin a kit.

Methylene chloride is somewhat polar.

Water is a very polar solvent, wont ruin a pump though

Also, the polar ice caps are not melting due to humans
