regarding the LEDs. I originally purchased a snow performance kit which ofcourse comes with a green LED to indicate when the pump is working. Recently, my LED stopped working and I was under the impression that my pump wasn't coming on; after lots of testing and checking, it turns out my LED died on me but everything else was fine.

Here's the interesting part; I went to Frys Electronics to purchase an identical LED and wired it in when I got back home. I soon found out that the new LED also burned out. After paying close attention to the instructions on the back of the LEDs package, I noticed you need to install a 1/2watt 680ohm resistor in order to use the LED with 12 volts. After I discovered this, I checked the LED for my low level indicator and found out it was also burned out. I picked up a second LED (different color) and did the same process of installing a resistor. Now both my LEDs work and no longer have burned LEDs. I hope this helps others; I will post a pic of the style of LEDs I'm using, some LEDs include inline resistors, you just need to make sure they are compatible with 12volts.

Anyone else encounter this problem?

if you want to be really technical with an LED do the following.
all LED's will be safe and bright if running on 20mA of current.
to calculate the resister needed ,
I=V(source)-V(led)/ resistor
so, resistor needed=Battery-LED / 20
usually and LED voltage drop is around 0.7V-1.2V, but can be 3Volts for high intensity LED's.

Do most meth kits now include LEDs with built in resistors?

Curious to see if others have or have had burned LEDs.

How many people are running the vc-25, ifs-10 and bbk-10 without running the fcs-10 solenoid? The kit was reinstalled today with the use of it and so far the kit has been working. I know someone had talked about the pooling of meth in the intercooler without. Has anyone experienced this? My tanks is located in the excess resevoir space in the rear-left of the trunk so it is sitting lower than the ifs-10 and the uicp where the meth is tapped.

Thanks. Do you have the FCS-10 hooked up in your car?

Couldn't find it, may be in my spare bedroom. I will continue to look for it tomorrow. Yes, I have the solenoid installed.

I was talking with some other people and they have the yellow wire from the VC-25 harness connected to the FCS-10 solenoid. My yellow wire is connected to my MAF as my diagram states. Where's yours running to?

Mine goes to the MAF like the instructions call for. Found two of three books for the kit.

The connection of the yellow wire will depend on what controller you have.
Older versions of the VC-25 used the yellow wire as an injection disable option - pull the wire to ground by a switch to disable injection.

The VC-25D was a special version of the VC-25 made for Mitsu engine to take advantage of the MAF signal for fast spooling turbos. The yellow wire of the VC-25D did connect to the MAF sensor output wire.

New versions of the VC-25 now have a seconday +12v output signal designed to activate the Fluid Control Solenoid. This signal is a constant 12V during injection and is not PWM like the pump signal. This output can also be used to drive a NOS relay or the IFS-10 injection failsafe.

Thanks for the reply. I have another question. I've heard of people having issues with running the IFS-10 into the UICP w/o utilizing the FCS such as gravity feeding methanol into the intercooler. Should I take the time to install it or just leave it as is?
