AEM water injection and AEM EMS??
Just wondering if anyone run the AEM water injection/meth kit with the AEM EMS? From the look of it, this would be an ideal set up, since both system can be linked together right? So the AEM fail-safe can be work with the EMS right?
A customer brought us an AEM meth kit this weekend to install. The start and full dials (wish I would have patent that back in 2002
) rotate in the wrong direction according to the controller label. We tried to run it on our test bench and could not get it to run. On power up you could hear the pump run for a few seconds and then shut off, did not blink any error codes.
The customer ended up leaving with our VC-MAF controller and IFS-10 injection failsafe. The only fail safe in the AEM is the input from the fluid level sensor, and possibly a current sense resistor on the pump signal wire. Current sensing to the pump will not detect all possible failure modes. Was also surprised to see it used all 20gauge wire.

Yes you can and several different ways, just read up and do some searches. Several people on here sell good kits but be sure you know exactly what you are buy and what you want to do with it before you make your purchase. I covered using the AEM for a failsafe and tuning with known turn on points a while back in the AEM sub forums.
