yeah, you can cut power or ground to the true boost, or you can clip one of the wires going to the boost control solenoid. the best way to do it is by cutting a wire to the boost control solenoid, that way it doesn't turn the gauge off completely every time it goes into a failsafe.

if there are only two wires going to the boost control solenoid, either one of them can be cut, and the yellow and orange wires can be spliced into it.

alternatively (and this is more of a catch all for EBCs), you can cut the ground wire to the guage and splice in the yellow and orange wires. this will turn the gauge off, and thus the boost control completely when a failsafe happens. its better to do it this way if your EBC has more then two wires going to the boost control solenoid, and your not sure which does what.

Well i wired it in to the ground wire. And i took it for a test ride. I did see the gauge display flow when i was under boost, but when i shifted, the tru-boost errored out and i had to reset it. Whats wrong?

what it is, is, whenever the pump stops flowing, it kills the boost solenoid, then when the pump flows again, it gives power to the solenoid which is fine for any other EBC, BUT the Tru-boost is tied to the gauge, and it needs to be reset everytime it finds an error IE the ground wire being "cut". So how do i find away around this?
