meth kit tuning and installation prices??

How much did you guys pay for your kit,installation.and tuning??If you dont mind could you list what kit you got,and who installed it..And what you guys are putting down..i have an evo 9 with tbe,mbc,intake,and a tune already..im getting my clutch installed in a week or so..And then im gonna get a meth kit..just looking around at which onr to get..And how much i need to prepare to spend..thanks guys..Justin

i have the labonte isg-10 kit... it cost me $500 for the kit, with gallon tank M8 and M12 nozzles, failsafe, boost switch ,boost bypass kit and low level... i installed it myself and had my boy Tamer (4WS tuning) tune it... this thing hauls ***!!!

Thanks man,that was one of the kits i was considering..I was just curious about the costs..i got a qoute from someone..and it seemed high to me,,i was just curious what these kits were going for installed,and tuned..justin

Aquamist HFS-5, purchased it from another forum member here, who decided not to use it at all.. brand new of course, 700 bux, shipped, sent the Kit to KevinD, he assembeled the kit for me, pretty plug and play from there on, then i installed it my self..
the kit included the whole thing.. tank, 3 nozzles, 0.8, 0.9 and 1 mm nozzles,, so i put the 0.9 and 1mm nozzles...
kit is amazing, and you can control the kit, turning it off or on, by a press of a button on the guage, and you can also see how much you are spraying on the guage.. very high tech kit

Its a very complex question.

1. How much did you pay for your kit?
What components are used?
What pump?
What seals material?
What pump pressure?
What AMP rating?
HSV included?
What stops the meth from flowing, off boost?
What keeps it from siphoning?
What keeps boost from backtracking through the lines into the tank and losing prime?
How reliable is the system?
Does the system employ a safeguard?
What does the safeguard do? How does it work?
If it has a safeguard, is it a flow sensor?
If it has a flow sensor, what happens when a line pops off the nozzle?
If it has a flow sensor, what happens when a nozzle starts to flow less from a partial obstruction?
What would this partial obstruction do to the AFR?
Does this safeguard have an AUDIBLE ALARM letting you know something is wrong?
Does this safeguard have a visual indicator, letting you know there is a fault?
Is the safeguard tied to AIR FUEL RATIO's?
Can you program a complex safeguard trigger such as: IF BOOST A>, AND TPS B>, AND AFR LEANER THAN C>, THEN TRIGGER SAFEGUARD BOOST CUT.
Is the safeguard tied to EXHAUST GAS TEMPERATURE?
Can you program simple safeguards also such as: IF EGT EXCEEDS xxx*C, THEN TRIGGER BOOST CUT SAFEGUARD to keep engine components from melting?
Does your meth injection system quote employ a wideband AFR meter so that the end user can keep an eye on the health of the system and report back to the tuner any potential changes in the way the system is operating?
Can the meth injection system and wideband be datalogged so that long distance datalog information can be emailed to your tuner for review and modification?
Does the person selling you the system have enough experience in meth injection in order to make competant recommendations as to what and why a certain kit is the right selection for you?
Does your tuner have enough experience in methanol injection to offer you competant input regarding who, what, where and why one kit will work better than another and outline the pro's and cons of each?

Can you afford the methanol injection kit being offered?

Can you afford to lose an engine over skipping over critical ACTIVE safeguards?

I gotcha..i understand the things that youre saying..I was just curious about other kits on the market..i rode in a car you guys tuned,and installed..IT WAS AMAZING..I was really impressed by it..I was just wondering,what other kits had to offer..I am just starting to read up on what meth can do..i was first thinking BIG TURBO..BUT,i see great numbers can be made with the stock turbo..I appreciate the input..i am gonna start saving a little more money..Justin
