Best Failsafe for AEM Meth Kit?

I was wondering what would be one of the best failsafes to run with the AEM meth kit, as I have now ordered my kit and I need some good defense for a failure.

Thanks!

The Aquamist DDS3 will work with AEM WAI system.

Upon fault detection, it can switch map or lower boost even you remove the power feed to it.

List of possible faults covered by the DDS:

- clogged nozzle
- low flow level (user defined)
- cut hose
- high flow level (user defined)

- loss of power supply (very important requirement for any failsafe system)
- Severed cable between the DDS3 and the BCV

Now supply with "push-fit" fittings for 1/4" OD hose as standard.

Now Im not trying to start an arguement, but I would like Labonte to chime in.

What makes the DDS3 better than the ISF-10 with the BBK-10? Besides the flow gauge...

Just trying to look around before I dump somemore money...

I don't know ISF-10 enough to compare but I will look into it.

One good feature of the DDS3, if the unit itself fails due to loss of power externally or internally, it will put your engine into a safe mode by default.

Can't really comment on "better" since there are always different view points on it.

We do offer a Flow Gauge option for our Fail Safe, IFG-20 or IFG-30. Shows a numeric value rather then a bar graph and recalls last Peak injection rate.

More info here:

Simple and less wiring to install the IFS then other units. It is the only unit on the market that is designed to be installed in the engine bay of the vehicle.

Best regards,

Dan
