AEM Meth Failsafe

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=IPzBp-ch6to

So I let RRE do some failsafe testing on my evo. Car peek made 400/400 at about 28psi, running 50/50.

Here is my tune along with data logs.

Just figured I would repost it here.

That's awesome. Does that come with their kit? I don't have E85 in my area, so Meth is a must.

I had an AEM Meth kit from my galant, and because I was going to be doing some long distance driving I ditched the e85 for a few months and went the 91+meth. I also wanted to push it pretty hard so I figured I would scoop up the fail safe.

That **** worked awesome. I was a little worried about testing the fail safe like 10 different ways, but every condition it worked and did what it was supposed to. Pretty slick little device.

I do really like the read out, so I could see that the meth was really going, that makes it nice.

But I wonder...by the time the failsafe kicks in is it too late? Seems like it might be.

A good fail safe that is properly setup can react in milliseconds. It has saved my butt before.

I got one sitting at home, but bought a cmgs, then was told that the cmgs wont mount in a DIN panel mount with no suggestions given. So I may install it with a DO controller. The logging feature will be nice if I wanna play around, and you can use the output for logging if you want to wire it up.
