Can meth burn up the idle control sensor?

I already had one burn up when we were tuning my car with meth, changed that out and its been running great for a month, last night the car has been idling and running like the ics is burnt up again. 2 guys said the meth causes it to burn up, how do i make it not burn up?

Yes, if your spraying good amounts. They don't put fuel injectors before the TB for a reason. Meth injection is a primative application for what it really is, but it sure as hell is an honest trade and worth it for me. Car has about 40,000 miles of methanol use of about every concentration (probably over 200 gallons of pure methanol gone through), I even spray it at mild load cruise.

Thus far I have gone through two idle servo's and one rebuilt throttle body using the 675 ml nozzle. Currently the 325 has seemed to prevent wall weeting. The same kit (with a pump upgrade) has been installed from day one of addiction.

You can probably avoid almost all corrosion though if you spray only a moddest amount and configure it reasonably.

Port injection may prevent thie from happening but charge cooling may not be as effective.

This corrosion topic has been discussed before in depth, worth a quick read.

yeah, the IAC valves are disintegrating ... i have no reasonable explanation for it.

i think i may try triggering the meth at higher boost levels, and could also try moving the nozzle further back down the IC pipe.

I burned one up on the dyno at AMS when tuning. So yes it definitely does happen.
