mivec meth

So any recomendations in changes to a MIVEC map coming from pump to meth.
seems like to much valve overlap can cause the meth to ignite in the high RPM's since exhuast can exit through the intake instead of the exhaust valve.

its already pretty well proven to much mivec in regular pump gas decreases performance and not because of knock. So why is it increasing mivec using race gas or meth injection make more power?
Now from my experience if to much heat is left inside the exhuast stroke the increase in MIVEC helped get rid of that heat and so more timing can be added.
but having race gas or meth you can already up the timing so increasing MIVEC dont make sense.
so far I have heard no good reason in doing it.
