DDS3 & AEM pls help
DDS3 & AEM pls help
Hi guys,
So I installed my DDS3 last night, and like the diagram shows, hooked my pump neg (-) as trigger. Just as a test, i set the WL as far CCW as possible, and the WH all the way CW as possible, so that should give me a nice open window.
My issue I think is with the trip adj range. When I start to spray and spool up, the flow meter starts, and I see the B light up, then the failsafe kicks in. I have tried various settings on the trip adj range, all the way CCW, CW and at noon, and various in between, 10 o 'clock, 2 o'clock. I'm not sure if there is a small sweet spot, or if I have something wrong.
Can anyone help me pls?
Thanks!
Jason

Ive tried the recommended settings (about 5), but I have also tried more and less. It seems to be almost always as soon as the unit turns on (the green LED on the board)
yes sir. That is the diagram I followed for my install. I have the (+) from the pump right to battery. The (-) from the pump to the orange wire from the AEM controller & to the DDS3.

So far it seemed normal. A few more questions please.
1. When the system is not spraying, does the green led come on?
2. When the system is triggered, does the red led come on?
3. What is setting of the "trip-adj" based on the face of a clock.

I fixed the issue. There needs to be a "dumbass" light. Your product is rock solid and was working perfectly!!
When I installed the low level switch in the tank, I must have bumped the fluid line going to the pump as it was kinked. So there was in fact very little fluid going through the flow meter, and the failsafe was activated.. DUH!!!
Richard, thank you for all of your time and patience. I am sorry you wasted time on my stupidity. You and your product kick butt.
I owe you a cold one.
