Meth and E85

Has anybody tried this setup that could give me some feedback. I was curious to how much more power e85 would give over 93 octane if you have meth.

Ah, octane of E85 is 100-105. And I want to say meth at 50/50 is 107-110, off the top of my head.

Thats a good question but not sure... I know that people have run racegas and meth. Thats a good combo because the race gas has high octane and the meth will cool the intake charge. Like Lucas's 522hp stock turbo was running race gas with meth jets. I'm not saying how they did their meth jets because not sure if they want anyone to know. It was a sick setup though!!!

meth and e85 is good if you have small jet i belive cause can have meth spray and e85 which will allow a aggressive tune

+1 meth is a coolant not an octane booster

yup meth is a cooler AND an octane booster. im going to run this setup currently im on e85 and im going to run a 50/50 mainly for cooling effect since i doubt the meth is gonna raise the octane anymore than it is with the e85 just to supplement the intercooling effect because im running such a large amount of boost. also to add more headroom in the fueling department lol

I currently have meth and e85, but I mainly am just using the meth as another injector til my 1450cc's come in because my 1000's are maxed out. The water works as cooling the meth works as raising the octane, so a 100% meth would be octane/fuel. The water is the cooling agent. Hence why I am running 100% meth right now(working as a 5th injector so to speak)

when my injectors come in I will post up if I gained any knock of any kind(when the meth comes off), but i doubt I will the e85 is some good stuff

Luke's Evo hasnt ever been on racegas...just e85 and E98.

We sprayed meth pre and post turbo on that car. It has 1680s in it so it was more about trying to make the turbo work more efficiently but having used it on my Eclipse that way, Luke's Evo, A customer/friends car, I can say it works well. The only thing you need to be concerned with this is dropping a cylinder when running ALOT of meth. Hydraulicking and Pre Ignition issues will destroy things pretty quick.

it was my understanding that both meth and e85 serve to cool your engine, so wouldn't running both be overkill? because you can only cool your engine so much...

I'm curious to this question as well...I want to run a 50/50 meth/h20 mixture while running
E85. I was wondering if jetting or anything else needs to be changed when running pump gas w/a meth kit?
