meth AFR's - whats good?
Depends on the car. No 2 cars are the same when it comes to tuning meth. You take it where you feel comfortable. I wouldn't push more than 12.5:1 a/f on 100% meth. I personally take my car to about 12.1-.2:1 a/f through adding timing after 11.1-.3:1 a/f.
Water injection and Water/Alcohol mixtures love leaner AFR's as well as more timing. I'm not familiar with tuning for 100% Methanol. But as what was mentioned above, in the end you have to tune your car with what it likes the best.
I was tuned at about 10:1 afr with 5-6* at peak torque. I leaned it out to an 12.3 on spool to about 11.8 at 7000 with 3* at peak torque. The car seemed to respond well. It is not a lot of timing but with 30psi i am making about 400wtq on a dynojet so that is enough stock block w/ 92000mi fun for me.

yeah there will be a BIG difference in going from 10:1 to 11.5:1, not so sure about going from 11.5:1 to 12:1 or 12.5:1.
which is really what the question is

I like to shoot for 11.2 afr's aslo good added safety if the pump fails cause if it does the afr's will shoot to 12.2 and you wont go kaboom...For 10 whp i rather be safe then sorry we also tested it on my car and im running 100% meth and didn't really notice a big difference maybe a bit more tq it's all in the timing that's were the power is made!
i better go back to 11's ..... everywhere else i could add timing but at 6500-7500 rpm it knocks like hell .... time to start all over again once my 3 port is installed ..... but the car definitely pulls harder n smoother with only water.
would some pls guide through the proper jet size ? as far as i know for water only it is 10-20% of idc.
stock injectors are rated at 600cc x 4 = 2400 and idc is 89% = 2136 x 15% (water) = 320.4 ml/min is the proper jet size ?

I have recently found that moving from 11.8 to 12.5 did not increase the power much if at all. So I like it better at 11.8
