There are a few printed fuses on the underside of the circuit board. Examine the copper tracks carefully and let me know if you have spotted a burn't track. It probably happened when the harnesses were crossed.

If you take a close-up picture of the underside of the circuit borad, I willhelp you finding it.

I got my friend to ground the trigger to the the car body and it sprays all the time, does this mean the trigger sensor on the board is damage?

I want to get a new or used dds control box v8 or v10 i want to try to solve this problem my friend thinks the boar is damage. Do you know where i can purchase the dds3 v8 or v10 from a a good price?

If you are able to spray when triggered manually then there is still hope. I ran into the same instance with my own V8 board. Eventually I got it to spray but the failsafe would not work lol. I don't know what I did. I ended up going to the HFS-3 and love it. Mine was doing the same. I changed out the inline fuse and then re-wired my board and double checked all connections and it started to work. I know you have been dealing with this for a while. Good luck. Electrical gremlins are the worst.

Could you post up one more pic of the board front and back since you have changed up the wiring?

If the system starts to spray when you grounded the trigger wire (pin 17), the system is working correctly.

Put the trigger wire to one of the fuel injectors, set the threshould to minimum, blip the throttle hard, the system should trigger.

Do not put the jets into the engine yet until you check the following:

1. The system should not come on at the accessory key position.
2. The system should power up but "NOT" spray at the pre-crank position
3. The system willonlt spray until load.

richard can i send the board to you so you can inspect it and if needed repair the board or sell me one if this one is damage beyond repair, because the system does not come on at pre ignition as it should or when engine is on still does not come on, the red led light indicating it is working doesn't come on, only when grounded manually it come on and the jet sprays i feel there a problem with the trigger and power sensor on the board because the dds3 will not indicate the red led at ignition then for the trigger to function when at load
my email is jos_forlife@hotmailcom you can email me a shipping address if you will look at my board thanks

Jos,

Following your description, the system is working as designed.

Because...
1. The system does not come on at pre-igniton ... normal
2. The system triggers (red led on) when green wire (pin17) is grounded .... normal

Please measure pin17 voltage (relative to ground) at idle and if the voltage goes down a little when blipping the throttle.

I will look at the board for you if you want but I like to see the results of the above tests first if possible.

Richard, i did the voltage test of the 17 pin and the voltage drops 13.5 to 12.4 as i as blitz the gas.

regarding the previous info i gave i was incorrect, the jet doesn't spray when the trigger is ground to the car neither does the red led come indicating systems is functioning. the jet sprays when the pump was powered directly from the battery my mistake.
what should i do next? i really want to send the board to you to look it over.
