water/meth on DD
you could set it up on two maps...
one for DD where you could have the WAI at much higher RPM and not as frequent or even not at all,
then have a map for track use where it's active through most gears, rpms etc.

Schmidty7, is your turbo going bad? Just to offer a point of view, water meth will benefit you at most any point in the modding scheme. It will be more beneficial if other things are lacking (i.e. smaller turbo, less IC, etc), but you can always benefit from water/meth. With tephra map switch, I would, and probably will with a DSM and ceddymods, or EVO/Tephra if I find a really good deal, have a stun, and kill map. Stun running pump fuel with the water/meth turned off. Turning on the water meth turns on the alt map set for kill. More boost/timing.
On the other hand, a bigger turbo will reduce the need for charge cooling if you are running it at a better efficiency point than the stocker. If not, then you have the same problem, only at a higher power. Properly setup failsafes work. Take a look at the aem saved my 400hp ____, can't remember right now, on youtube.
My thought, from a monetary and a tuning challenge standpoint, is to max out the setup you have, then when the turbo goes out, or you find yourself at the point of diminishing returns, or with an excess of money, upgrade the turbo.

most ive seen are post intercooler and pre throttle body. you want it to be before the IAT sensor so your EMS can calculate the proper fuel. Its not uncommon to see below ambient temps with Water/Meth injection.
i drive on meth as a DD for about 20K miles - Labonte kit spraying at 5-22psi No issues. As others mentioned, if you arent boosting, you're not using the meth. i don't even go through that much meth. a 5 gallon pail lasts me almost a year or so.
I think with ethanol fuel its just since it is more corrosive than regular 93 it is worse on components as far as longevity is concerned. Components being fuel lines, tank, pump, injectors ect. But you can buy ethanol specific components for a more bullet proof system. The methanol kit is its own system. It sits on its own tank, flows thru its own lines, pump and injectors (nozzles) so there's not alot of concern with it sitting up too long and breaking down components. Plus meth is only injected for seconds at a time compared to car running e85.
I personally have no e85 experience so someone else can probly hit this subject better. I do however use a aem meth kit in my Evo every single time I exceed 11psi....love it.

A properly tuned, installed, maintained & working system will have no ill effects on the engine. With a W/M50 mix it will actually be "softer" on the bottom end than e85 even when running it on the edge.
I'm running about 35psi peak which creeps down to 29/30.
