Aquamist new DP jets for 2012

We have two new jet options

1/8 NPT extended...
Internal checkvalve and 100um disc filter incorporated.
The threaded tip is extended for thick wall manifold installations.

M8 x 0.75mm ...
Retaining the same M8 thread, 8mm longer. It has an internal 15psi
checkvalve to combat the siphoning effect in multi-jet applications
especially there is vacuum or pressure differentials between location
such as pre-turbo and post turbo setups

Excellent Richard! I have been waiting for these.

I also see that there is now a 2mm jet available.

Not quite 2mm yet, 1.2mm jet. spraying ~650cc/min @150psi.

Whilst people are filling E85 in their tank, I am pressing for M85 on tap with those jets. (joking)

That is still a good bit of flow and with Aquamist spray pattern and consistence I am sold.

It took a while to make the 1.2mm jet work properly. We can make a 1mm jet to flow more than the 1.2mm but the spray pattern is terrible.

How is your system behaving?

Like a charm since day one, been about 2yrs now. I am very pleased. I recommend Aquamist WMI systems to anyone interested in purchasing a system.

I feel that there is no other as reliable or has better customer support. Not to mention the constant innovation in new parts and system features, such as the failsafes and built in map switching feature. You guys are at the top of the game.

Does the excess pressure needed to get the 1mm to flow so much disturb the spray pattern?

How does the pump handle multiple check valves and nozzles? DO has mentioned more stress on the pump with more than on little nozzle, and to not use more than one check valve in the system, hence selling the 220psi Shurflo for direct port.

Which jets would you recommend for direct port in the intake manifold, with a FP Green, cams etc with 750cc injectors? Either with 50/50 or 100% meth.

It is good to know the system is still servicing you well. We try to keep busy here, continue to improve our existing product and bring the DI specific decoding circuitry to date. I was hoping EVO XI will appear soon. Thank you for the encouragement.

Thanks to Tephra's magic touch, the intergration of WMI system is seamless.

Over-running the 1mm nozzle: We have to increase the depth of spiral groove of the spinner, this reduce the natural spray angle, producing very coarse droplet size. In order to retain the quality of spray, orifice size and groove depth should be matched over a broad range of lone pressure.

I am not sure what DO was trying to portrait, the pump does really care how many checkvalve you are using. Please elaborate.

As far as I know. if you put multiple check valves in series, you will loose multiple pressure drop at the nozzle.

Putting checkvalve in parallel to separate jets will only cause a single pressure drop.

If you are running 750cc injectors, total fuel flow is 3000cc/min

For M50:W50 ............... WM/F ratio 15-20% (450-600cc/min). Use a 1mm jet
For M100 ..............M/F ratio 20-25% (600-700cc/min). Use a 0.8+ 0.9mm jet

The above set up does not give you any surplus ceilings. Perhaps use the next size up in case you need them in the future.

If you have surplus capacity, there is something useful you can do with the HFS-4. Since you are not using the High pressure fuel pump channel, why not connect it to a third party WBO sensor so the HFS-4 can add additional methanol in the event of the engine going lean.

Yes I'm doing well. I still have many parts that I yet to install.
