I've read that optimal atomization occurs when nozzles are placed close to the intercooler outlet. I have a evo x with a recirculated BOV and I would like to place my nozzle pre-BOV right after the 180 degree pipe outlet bend.

Any information would be appreciated

 

What kit are you using?

I have one jet 12" away and a second jet about 18" away.

 

I'll be using a aquamist hfs-3 with two nozzles. I did a search and all the information out there is a few years old. It looks like only a few where doing it. I was looking to see if anyone that had been doing it for a while had any bad experiences. Jeff at Howerton said I would be fine with it.

Looking at your mod list I would recommend use two jets.

I would trust Jeff on where to place them. He know his stuff!

 

I would place a smaller nozzle just downstream the recirculation valve and another as close to the throttlebody
