NorCal Convoy to CAL SLAM 2003
NorCal Lancer Drivers Unite!
Let's consolidate all threads concerning the convoy down to CAL SLAM Stage One from Northern California (and parts North) on this thread.
Bay Area contingent will be meeting at the Oakland Zoo (O-Z) parking lot in on January 25th. The meeting time will be high noon. Sac Town contingent will meet up with the Bay Area team in Manteca between 2 PM and 3 PM.
If you cannot make it to CAL SLAM, please join us at 0-Z to cheer on your team (we will be flying the Silver and Black) and represent in formation for as long as you can ride with the tide.
I am the Director-at-Large for the NorCal contingent.
To coordinate O-Z rendezvous or contingency plans call the Team 888 hot line: 650.703.8865.
Any questions regarding numbers, lodging, events, etc. should be directed to trance (by PM).
Looks like we are going to have an exciting weekend. Let's ensure that it's incident free by planning well and treating our hosts with respect.

Official plan: meet at Neptune's between 11 and noon. We're rolling at noon sharp, so get there early. This way, we should be in Fresno by 7 or 8 pm and can cruise a little. Anybody need directions to Neptune's PM me, or if someone has the address, please post it here. Thanks!

Naw, Sat/Sun is good enough for me. Besides, I'll have my two daughters in tow. I just booked my room at Motel 6 Fresno - Blackstone South. 1DVSOZ, you'll be riding down with Team 888 on Saturday, right? We're going to have a convoy...Here's the link to the NorCal thread I just started.

ok my session is not valid but im in where should we meet because castro valley is backtracking for us sactown peps. i dont even now how to get to castro just san jose or sf so give me a spot along 99 on the way to fresno around sac and a time and we will be there. you said you are bringing your 2 girls that is cool i am bringing my wife who will be 7 mounths pregnant at the time with a girl

Congrats! Dude, Castro Valley is just off the 580! You can do it! We wanna take some DVs at Golden Tee Golfland first, then I'm gonna run the Digital Video Cam all the way down to Fresno. MAybe take about 8 hours of video for the whole weekend, edit and burn DVDs for all the participants. Glad to have you. Bring all your Lan driving friends from Sacto!

we will have to meet on the road some wher because it will take me about 2 hours to get to castro. if i head stright to fresno it takes about 2 hours so you see i would have to end up driving around 6 hours that is just a little to much for me with a wife how has to stop every 20mins to hit the little girls room
