CAL Statewide Lancer Association Meet - CAL SLAM 2003
Winter 2003 California Statewide Lancer Association Meet - CAL SLAM STAGE ONE
Team 888 and our associates are planning a series of CA Statewide Lancer Association Meets in selected locations around the State of California.
For stage one of CAL SLAM, California Lancer owner/drivers will join together at Fresno, a centrally located DMZ on January 26th. Mistubishi enthusiasts from all over California are invited to this meet at Woodward Regional Park. Come to the 1st CALIFORNIA Statewide Lancer Association Meet, and make history!
Date: Sunday, January 26, 2003
Time: 7AM to 7PM
Location: Woodward Regional Park, 7775 Friant Road, Fresno
Area: Park View and the adjoining Parking Lot
Directions: 99 to Fresno. Take the Herndon exit to State H 41. Take 41 north to Woodward Park. Along the San Joaquin River between Freeway 41 and Friant Road, north of Herndon Avenue.
Admission/Parking: There will be no charge for admission.
Events: Statewide/Regional Car Show - Bikini Contest - FrankFest: Hot Dog Eating Championship

haha what Booyah forgot to mention is that what where trying to do is bring the south and north together in the middle. were taking the LA, Irvine areas (south) and the sanfran, sac areas (north) and making one big meet in the middle, now keep in mind we want to do this meet sometime in febuary. when everything has winded down from the seasons. now remember its just a rough idea, if people are interested, post away.

Thanx Link! We need to decide on a date and an exact location then the organizers can contact the city, so as not to freak people out too much...The Japanese Garden might have a sweet parking lot...wouldn't that be ideal? I don't know about "Dickey Playground", tho...just a starting point. Anyway, take the poll so we know how many people want to participate, and post your ideas here. If you're in SoCal or Fresno, by all means PM Link. If you're in NorCal or Fresno, please ping me for more info and to get on the list...and yes, there is a list.

hay guys...i'm in forit...i'm orig from fresno and have friends and fam there still...and even have friends that have their own import shops there , Twins motorsports and Kiyoshi's...so maybe i can get them involved...i know Twins will deff have my back and if Kiyoshi's helps we can use their parking lot...they've held meets there at times...i'll pm you ppl and feel free to do the same to me...lets get it going

I'll make my attendance tentative. Just for my vote, would be better in late Jan than in Feb, since I won't be in school yet. But as long as it's a weekend and I can request the dates like a month in advance (and hopefully don't have an autocross that weekend), I'm in!
