Too hot and boring to watch 18 sec civics and accords with steelies and lime green window tint...

 

I'm hoping the heat won't be too bad. As far as too many Civics and Accords, this is why I'm hoping for a nice Evo showing. I'm sure there will be a lot of WRX and STi's there too.

Man, I've been trying to score some used cams for weeks now. I've come close a couple times, but no cigar. I'd like to get them in before the SCO night as well. At the very least, I'd like to get a short shifter. When I'm rifling through the gears I miss 4th sometimes and that kills my 1/4 time.

I know both Jay and Vivid have a dyno going in soon. I doubt they'll have it up and running before the 25th, but they might. If you can score your cams, you might look to them to see if you can get your car tuned.

I went by Vivid's new place on Friday afternoon. There's so much room - it's really nice. Paul and Jackie are really cool too.

 

ill be there, vivid is probably not going 2 have the dyno up and running until mid-july <talked 2 dan 2day>, and yes vivids new shop is the sh*t!

 

I know of a couple of us that are heading up at 4:30, 5:00...want to get our runs in early before the lines get to long....we can set up a time in chandler somewhere to meet up for anyone that is interested....I know of at least one other Evo and one WRX that are going with me at that time...lets set it up...

Hey, let's all meet up somewhere. I've only been in Mesa for a few months and don't know too many cool places to meet up yet. Anyone have any suggestions? How about meeting around 4:00 on Saturday? We should be looking at a cool 100 degrees.... ouch. On a side note, how long should this heat last? This is my first summer here and I'm missing SoCal's June Gloom very much right about now!
