Here is the deal.
People don't want to pay your transportation cost.

People don't want to pay your taxes. Yes they would have to pay tax again on whatever they purchase it for.

It honestly won't sell as hot as people think. Right now I can go to any dealer and get a 350Z off the lot. The EVO will be the same in 6 months or less.

The car is used, and is valued way less than what you are trying to sell it for.

A bank wouldnt loan money for that price on that car (so the buyer would need to have a bit of cash).

An insurance company wouldn't insure for that price, unless you pay much higher rate.

If you can get that money for esentially reselling the car (possibly illegal though I don't think so), then I give you credit, but if you were really a good guy, you might help another member here get their dream.

For instance, a friend of mine, and a member of this board, really wants the car I am getting. I could be a jerk and say, well I will buy it and re-sell it to you for a premium. Instead I am doing what I can to help him get a good deal, and am trying to work a deal where he can get a car which I would like, so that he can get mine.

Hi fellow shoppers!

The guy drives a Honda Civic and claims he has cash for 2 (two) EVO's? In the words of Austin Powers .... "r-- i--g--h-- t".

This is ludicrous.

Speedlimit.....

P.S. However, just in case digialpimpc I am all over your five bucks. I bid $5.50.

I am willing to bet that your friend really appreciates all that you have done for him already. He will probably start to pester the dealer soon to see how the search is coming for the other color choices. I also would like to say that it is car enthusiasts like you that get others into enjoying cars.

Yeah I know a lot of people who drive POS cars on their last leg, but their savings accounts hit 6 figures. I also know a millionaire (one of the founders of Nike) and he drives an old Subaru wagon.

Well in that case Why are u paying MSRP go for in invoice for the Evo.**** the dealer makes about 2 grand off the deal alone. If u bought the Evo for invoice the dealer would still make out if u only knew. And for all u people out there that don't think i can afford this car screw u. I have 2 cars lined up any color and option one is already mine ANd i don't have to pay taxes MEGABUSH or whatever i'm in the military and a resident of Alaska and that's where all my vechicles are registered. As for my pos car it would smoke my evo any day. Don't take this the wrong way i love the evo more than my project hatch will H22 and 00 civic SI with Zex but my civic would still will. U californians know whats up everybody else really are just comments to me. I own both cars and my home. I don't make anypayment but insurance and everyday life bills and make over$50,000 yr so that shuts everybody who thinks i can't afford 2. I already have both loans closed. One last thing EVERY SINGLE DEALER IN CALIFORNIA is sold out and NONE OF these EVO's are even CLose to MSRP i think the lowest i found was $3,000 over but of course sold out. Not just California but about 10 other state so Explain this to me If nobody wants to pay over MSRP. I know what your saying but if the dealers can get away from the this why can't I jump on the boat think about it. **** i might even sell for $2,000 over how's that sound.

Gentlemen,

My point is this. If you have the cash (wealth) to buy two cars then you just do it. You do not worry about "preselling" , you just write the damn checks.

Arguments that .... gee I know a rich dude who drives a POS are pretty lame. .....

My initial reaction to the post is retracted as he is a US serviceman. US service men and women get 100% of my support and I wish him the best of luck selling the car. Thank you for your serving your country VTEC1!

Stop using so many caps, and sorry to burst your bubble but you sound like a terrible car salesman. First off... Not every dealership is sold out, in californina. I know I live here. Second I would like to gradulate you on giving the dealership your extra money, because i am paying MSRP. and didn't set my deposit but a week or so ago. It seems to be that people who do not know how to research pay a nice premium.

A side note you should be more swift with your speech instead of yelling everything out, no one is going get on there knees and suck your....... for your so called two evos specially for that amount.

Vtec1, You are really lame. You type like you're on drugs. But then being a true-blue military dude, you "don't do no F'n drugs"...right? You just drink yourself into oblivion before you attempt to write something here. You are really in the wrong place to be trying to scam for some cash. You're sitting on a big-*** gamble and I hope it slaps you right in your ***. You are part of the problem. So go peddle your BS somewhere else. You have taken a gamble that you can ****** an EVO from someone else and get a markup yourself...costing some other poor sot to pay more. But you are dumb enough to get on this forum to do it. Really, I think you should take out a mortgage on your house, get your emplolyer to front you a stack o' cash, and borrow from your parents so you can buy a half dozen of them and then be a really big wheeler-dealer.

You are really a dumbass.
