If I can find one for 35 I'm all over it. Actually if I can't find one under 30 I'm screwed.

dude...come on! be realistic here. This is the last place your gonna wanna sell an evo over sticker. Don't you see all the complaining going on, on these threads about being just 500 over let alone 5000 over.....

This is one of those situations where everyone hopes you get burnt.

Go ahead and buy 2 (paying full sales tax on the extra one), then hopefully no one will want to buy the second one and you will be all hosed up.

Or....You may not even have the funds, so you won't be able to pull it off anyway.

Ya see Vtec1, the problem is a lot of us are debating whether to get the EVO 8 or the new STI (when released). They are truely very comparable cars. Granted we are die hard evolution fans and are willing to do the mods to get are cars above and beyond the STI, but when people start to throw numbers around like 35-40k it just pisses us off. So if your lookin to get the kinda of money to cover your own expenses, find another site with less knowledgable buyers. But hey good luck, I hope you find some shmuck willin to pay 10G's of sticker

Ok....good luck with your venture but be aware that;

1. Prospective customers hate the thought of being charged over MSRP. It is not important whether the overcharge comes from a dealership, or a reselling private party.

2. Employees of Mitsubishi hate private partys who resell their cars for profit, because thats perceived as "money lost" to the salesperson and the dealership.

3. People on this board are mostly prospective customers and employees of Mitsubishi.

So you shouldn't be too suprised by the response you got.

SC~
