I'd like to meet and swindle the person stupid enough to pay 50K for any Mitsu. I thought 5K markup was shameful, this takes the cake.

 

You'll find a big enough sucker in the bay area. There are just too many people with too much money on their hands (even after the dot.crash).

Prediction...this same yellow evo 8 will be in the parking lot of Saratoga High in 2 weeks time, a gift to junior on his 17th birthday, after he totalled the M3 he got for his 16th.

chill guys, it's just the asking price... they expect to negotiate down from there. i went to my local mitsu dealer here. 10K over msrpbut they were willing to part with 3K over. told them to call me when they get the right color and wanna sell closer to msrp.

 

Why would you pay that much for that car when you could buy a Sti? Whats so special about the Evo?

 

I would kick that dealer in the nuts!

 

 

for that marked up price you can buy

2 WRX's with Vishnu Stage 1 kits (installed) which gives you aproximatly the same power levels as the EVO and another $3500 to spend on each WRX...

Or you could buy an EVO VII and mod the hell out of it...

Me and a friend went to Capitol Mitsu today. They had 3 Evo's in the showroom, red, black, and yellow one. All had $20k markups. Even the manager said that he would wait on getting one. But one thing that was cool was the adjusting HID lights.

 

Let me know when they sell one...

"town".
The first and only one to reach my dealership has an adjusted
market value of 49,775.53
this is bullcrap, considering I saw the owner of the dealerships
son driving this car at the age of only 17.
the kid did not know anything about the car. just thought it looked cool!!
what kind of B.S. is that ??
the kid said it cost his dad 21,775.
I am seriously dissapointed.................

 

We got our pretty red EVO today from Dan at Concord Mitsubishi. They were very reasonable as far as mark up was concerned. Will dyno on Monday and post up results.

i've seen those kids in saratoga kenshin. everytime i go visit my gf at west valley community college, i see at least 2 or 3 2003 m3's driven by those spoiled freshmen.

p.s. whatever you guys do, stay away from capitol mitsubishi in san jose and stevens creek mitsubishi in santa clara (both owned by the same weasel).
