Which dealership do u get your oil changes and stuff at?
Since this is the first yr for the Evo I want to go somewhere that actually knows what theyre doing w/ it. My friends friend works at the Hayward one and he told me they did send him to training yet, but will soon. Hes the best tech they have too.
I'd like to know from your experiences where you go your stuff done. Thanks!

well i used to work at Pep Boys and as far as the oil techs and tire guys , there is no specific training for them but the regular techs generally are ase certified or in process, me personally, i worked with Discount tire centers "not america's tire" truse me different company. I work there for 5 years and know the owner of the one in temecula cali, and they take good care of my OZ and i can watch everything they do, so i feel comfortable. After working on cars for so long i tend not to trust anybody touching my car, no matter what kind of car it is.
I change my own oil
If I can avoid letting someone else monkey with my car, I will. But honestly, oil changes are simple, so I recommend any Mitsu dealership simply because they take the care not to use power tools to put your drain plug back on (*cough-jiffylube-cough*). The whole operation takes a socket wrench and 2 sockets, about half an hour for a beginner like me.
