Oh, so that was you. Mark told me about you and pointed out the car that I suppose you ended up purchasing. I figure your drive home must have the car broken in by the time you get back... I'm still at a measley 160 miles on the clock

Thanks for your Business Profile......
Mark, the drive back was okay...had an accident on the 405 by the Getty, but the traffic allowed me to go through the gears a bit. After that, I was varying the RPMs, up the 5 from 2-3k RPM, for 250 miles, then from 2-4k, for the next 100-150 miles. After my commute to work (and a little driving around ) I'm up at 500 miles I'm going to hold off before I start hitting the higher RPMs

Mark, thanks again for your great help and excellent service!

Not quite broken in, yet... I want to make sure I break her in really good. I have 500 on the clock, now...just 500 more and I'll see what she really can do I've waited this long to get this car, I can wait 500 miles more

The owner's manual says 600 miles is the recommended break-in... and consider the fact that they tend to be conservative. Personally, I never felt there was a need to baby the car for longer than recommended. You can go into higher rpms, just stay under 5k rpm like the manual suggests, and don't hit that rpm too often.

Yea, I hear that I'm just being a little bit more cautious, cause I want to keep this car for 6-8 years (wishfully thinking)... and it may become my next auto-x car, but we'll have to wait and see I'm not driving it like a grandma, just keeping the RPMs below 4500

Hey Mark, can Southcoast install an aftermarket alarm on my EVO before you ship it out. If yes, what systems do you offer and can I roll the price into my EVO financing?
