i seriously think we need a meet in the san francisco area. it seems we are on of the few grps that never meet. i see grps of supras and s2k but never lancers, even oz lancers. i have seen more bike meets. although i am saying all this i am a very bad organizer so can someone step up to the plate

 

we are trying to get meets going up in the 707/916 area. a meet in vallejo would be coo too

 

actually that would be nice to have a meet up at the vallejo area since cops in the bay area or anywhere near the city are punks

 

We don't need a meet. What we need is representation at CAL SLAM. The people who are willing to commit to representing NorCal and the Bay Area at CAL SLAM will maintain contact and will have a REASON to meet up in our region. I have very little confidence in people who are not willing to join the CAL SLAM revolution. If you look at our history, SoCal folks are a lot more dependable. They were willing to drive to Fresno from Orange County and even further south. You want a meet? Represent @ The Rim, first. Otherwise, in my eyes, and in the eyes of the other California-based Lancer clubs, you are lame.

 

Harsh booyah, but true.... I've been to 4 or 5 meets around the bay area, and most were flops. 10 or so people said they would show and it would always turn out to be the saw group of 3 or 4 that would show. I'm tired of folks talking and never showin'. Anyway, I guess I'll see the same group May 2 at CALSLAM!!!!!
BTW, John I know you can't come, so is the baby born yet????

 

if we have small meets that makes us lame. maybe you havent been long enough in the scene to have respect for the cars. we all go to meets just to have a get together & learn on our cars.

 

well said. i like little meets. they could be disappointing, but if you know the people its a good chance to bs about what's been going on. like friends. but hey, if that's lame
