San Diego Evo's
Anyone who might be interested, the SCCA National Tour autocross event is this weekend, both Saturday and Sunday in the Qualcomm Stadium parking lot.
There will be about a half dozen Evos competing in various classes (A Stock, Street Touring Ultra, B Street Prepared, and Street Modified), not to mention a whole bunch of other tricked out automobiles...
Get there early (9 AM on Saturday, 8 AM on Sunday) to see the STU and BSP Evos; I believe that two of the BSP Evos are national championship cars. Come late (roughly 2:30 - 3 PM) to see the SM or AS Evos; I'm competing in SM and the 2006 BSP championship car is also signed up to run SM so you could catch it in the afternoon if you miss it in the morning.
No charge for spectators; you just sign a waiver and get a wristband which gives you site access.

After the first day today, we have Evo drivers in the top three spots in BSP, the top spot in BSP Ladies, top spot in STU Ladies, 2nd place in SM, and 3rd, 4th, and 6th in STU. Both SM and STU are currently showing WRX STis on top.

That's 9 Evo drivers who currently are sitting in trophy positions. Come out tomorrow and support the
faithful. I met one of the regulars in this thread today, and saw a few more Evos parked near the site; if you come by, introduce yourself.
