What happened? Your car was running great! How much boost were you running?

 

My car is fine....its charlie's car we are trying to get a donor turbo for....27.5lbs on pump....no bueno...

 

Is there a way we can create a new san diego thread. This current SD thread has more drama than the T.V show HILLS

 

O ok. And omg!!! Why did he do that? Well I have an extra turbo but its not a 16g.

 

the stocker is aleady orderd, didnt know it was doing it till alan did some data logging on my car to get rid of knock, oh well that lesson only cost me $285. now i know that the greddy profec is no bueno at understanding were the boost is at.

I dont like closing threads in regionals because they are kind of like an open forum (within the rules of the board mind you) and I do not like to stifle conversation.

For the time being I will leave this thread open. If I get any more complaints...well then that a different story. So for now...please try to respect each other.

where did you get it from? And 285 is a great price! Does it have the 10.5 hotside? And how you know its you ebc? I happened to run the profec eo-1 in my saturn and it worked great especially with my ems. I would just check all your connections to make sure. This is why sometimes mbc are great. They are so simple and if something goes wrong its easily detected and fixed.

I will be going to San Diego in Chula Vista on April 9 and will be staying for 5 days. Is Pans Motorsports still alive there on Balboa/Clairemont area? How about Group5? I quit the hobby in 1995 and it's been a while for me. What are the Performance store/shops there that sells EVO performance parts? Can you price check a TBE (Tanabe concept g blue tip, Buschur with the bullet, AMS or any good brand) for me please?

Maybe we can meet somewhere and have a chat or two.

If I were you Id check out amsperformance.com or buschurracing.com. I wouldnt go to pan or any local retailer in sd.

 

+1 I used to deal with PAN, they are mostly Honda and Acura guys

 

Well acura is honda but not only that but their service blows and their prices blow even more.

 

check out high end performance down in chula vista too.
