They're stickers that's why they seem embossed.

Anyone have a used rear brake pad lying around? Need one asap. Just needs a little bit of pad left on it.

I fixed PART of the problem with my lil car. When I installed the boost gauge, the line fitting wasn't exactly sealed, causing a vac leak. Now it's fixed and pull better, but still only 5psi. I'm looking for a replacement BOV and going to build a MBC tomorrow.

Anyone running a stock BOV, does it open at 10psi or less????? I may barrow Dustin's to see if it works.

the plastic one from my 8 begins to crack around 10 psi if pressure is applied only to the piston, with the boost refrence for the diaphragm it will hold 14-16 psi, though there will be hardly any pressure sealing the plastic valve to its seat allowing a small leak

the metal valves that come in the 9's are sightly stiffer, & can usually hold from 12-15 psi without the boost refrence & around 17-19 with the boost refrence to the diaphragm before starting to crack open

the valves will typically function up to around 25-30 psi, before they start leaking enough to impact performance noticably but they will still be leaking slghtly at any psi above the ratings unless crushed/modified

what line did you refrence/tap into for the Boost guage? if you tapped the line going to the BOV it is possible there is still a leak & that would cause a reduction in boost as the bypass valve will not seal properly without a good manifold refrence to the top of the diapragm

does your car drive like it only has 5 psi? before putting on a MBC to "fix" the problem you should be certian that there are no leaks in the line to the Boost guage & that the BPV is properly sealing.
