it took me a long time to find the evo that i wanted for the price that was right, i pretty uch layed out all the criteria as to what i wanted ie, which model, color, and what price range i am willing to spend. as you can imagine i had alot of time to do this being stuck in iraq but in the end i got a 2006 EB GSR with 5200 miles on it for just under 25k. they are out there, i got lucky, the guy i bought mine off of had a baby and the wife told him to get rid of it and i luckily ended up in my hands. be patient and do your research, they are out there. have you checked out www.southcoastmitsubishi.com? the salesmen are ****** and unless you have a briefcase full of cash or a cashiers check in hand they wont even talk to you, but they do have some good deals.

i havent been to a fusion meet in about 2 years...it used to be just a few junkies and mostly the usual suspects..

when i left it was tons of tool-bags so we started meeting on sundays too.

 

i stopped going because it became a rice fest with a bunch of hondas,srt 4s and 240s. so ghey.

so..... now that the cars back together i was thinking about heading up to Willow Springs. looks like redlines next event is Sept 22nd & 23rd @ Streets. i was leaning towards Sat the 22nd as i think the track is a bit more fun going CW....

completely unrelated, but i got to drop some mortar rounds tonight in iraq, prolly one of the coolest things ever, except for the fact that they were illumination rounds, but none the less still fun.

The Q is on Sept. 7th, but other then that, Sunday meet @ Fusion.

 

Where do you guys go to run 1/4's? I personally dont like Qualcomm, by the time im hitting my sweet spot, the race is over. I use only 1st and 2nd gear and im done with the 1/8th.

of course, If any of you see me on the streets, feel free to run me. Im always down if the traffic allows it.
