well folks went to Reese Tuning on my day off (tues) to meet the crew there. First off the people there are very kind and treat you and your car like family. that is very hard to find now a days...James and his wife are very knowledgable and project professionalism but also give you a sense of fun and a very friendly atmosphere....James said Jeff lets put your car on the rollers....and I couldn't resist since I too was curious to what my bone stock Evo 9 MR was going to lay down..to both our surprises as well as Brad's and Hunter's (props) my car put down 258whp and 251wtq on average over 3 pulls!! The shop is nice and clean and you have knowledgable staff that are confident in what they do.....Now I'm waiting on the Tax refund $$ so James can work his magic on my MR.....Props to Reese Tuning for putting a smile on my and my Evo's face......

I was just a victim of a sting operation in Chula Vista and got a fix-it ticket for not having a front license plate. 
Thankfully the cops didn't seem too concerned with the rest of the car because they didn't ask to look under the hood, nor did that say anything about my 3" CAT-less exhaust. Could have been a lot worse!

Beatrush makes a nice Front plate holder, been rockin mine for a while now & IMO it looks much cleaner & less bulky than the OEM plate mount
there pretty cheap IIRC, its been a while but i think i got mine for under 20$ off E-bay

its made for a JDM plate so you will have to drill one hole on your US plate. which isint such a bad thing as it lets you place the plate where you like it

Yeah California is so petty with stuff man...this one guy I know that has an STi got busted in Escandido for having a front mount intercooler and an aftermarket BOV. He said that has nothing to do with smog stuff they didn't believe him, sent him home with a fix it ticket anyway. What BS. I am lucky here in the Imperial Valley, we don't smog our cars...only when you sell or buy. So I could go catless on my car for some extra HP but the smell in the morning gives me a headache forget it...so I will go with a high flow cat........anyway Some Cops are car freaks too and don't trip, and some are haters........crazy world we live in.....
