Oh crap have a bad run, you have to wait another 3 hrs to get s second crack..literally seconds too, 70second runs LOL....doesn't sound too fun to me.

I'll be on Palomar and other back roads enjoying my car with other real motor heads, doesn't matter WTF we ride, either be a motorcycle, EVO, S2k or my miata. If I crash my car, I'll buy another, simple as that.

We ALL know the risk taking what we drive on those roads and those speeds. Yes I feel bad that Brain crashed his car, but he didn't crash it in the twisties, something really bad happened ON THE STRAIGHT SECTION that caused him into the ditch. Shake it off and learn from that mistake whatever it might have been. Hell it could have been a deer on the road he was trying to avoid or some wild **** like that.

No reason to sound like *** hat when you have a 300+hp EVO. what do you keep it in 5th going 35mph think not
This gets back to my whole point about most of you being douche bags. Its not about crashing your car and simply buying another one. Its not so much about hurting yourself either. It is about hurting OTHER people. Driving reckless on public roads endagers innocent people. If I happen to witness any stupid **** like this, I will be the first one to drop the dime on you guys.

Then I really take it that you have NEVER EVER pushed your car on public roads, think not. Anyways driving at night is actually ALOT safer because you can see on coming headlights and traffic before you even pass them. There is very little traffic on those roads at night to begin with so the chances of hurting someone else is very un-likely.

Get out and drive your car!!!!! you don't have to get to HIGH SPEED through everything to get a thrill

good job on calling yourself a NARK, you'll be famous and I'm sure you'll gain alot of friends

Barona is designed for full out NHRA race cars, it's an axle snapper for almost anything else. Even honda guys snap axles out there.

I wouldn't luanch your AWD on that track. Back when it was new and when I had my DSMs, we would go out there, I snapped my GST axles out there on the first pass. My buddy with his AWD broke his 4 bolt rear end.

It is funny that you label me a nark, because I figured you'd use the term punk. Anyways, you should consider myself a concerned citizen with the right to report reckless driving.

And yes, I have acted like a dumbass on public roads before and I constantly try and remind myself to take it to the track.

I would like to run at Barona sometime. I understand that the track is much better prepared (seeing as how it is a dedicated track) and that you can expect to cut your 60' times by a few tenths of a second as compared to running at the Q. I also understand that it is much easier to break-down there because it is easier to hook. I'd probably hold-off on running Andrea's Evo there until we have some DSS axles (front and rear) in it. My S2000 is good to go as I already have DSS Stage 5 (1000hp) rear axles.

that track is built for those drag cars running 24" wide mickeys. Lots of rubber and traction in those first 60ft. They didn't think about the everyday racers that like to take street cars out there, since the Q was so popular for that. Yah take upgraded axles out there and hope you don't pop the T case.

If you want a prepped track that isn't freaking hard core, then head up to Irwindale speedway. They have an 1/8 mile and race tuesdays or Wednesday. Pretty good track, luanch box reminds me of Carlsbad. Back when I ran my DSM there, it was CHEAP to race, like $15 bucks. But hell that was back when the Q was $10 or $15 bucks too.
