San Diego Evo's
Just wondering if any San Diego evo's are going to qualcom for auto-x this weekend? It's the championship or something. This will be my first event so I was hoping to find a seasoned vet to irritate for some knowledge.
So I'm moving to San Diego this week and I have Florida plates and I'm keeping them. I know California has dick cops and my car is modded to the hilt. How excessive are they? Can they mess with me if I'm not doing anything wrong? Anyone have this experience?
Yes, haha. SD pd isn't TOO bad.
CHP is going to be your worst enemy tho.
Local sheriffs depending on what city within san diego are average-Bad when it comes to harrasment.
Summary : SDPD = Understands that Penal code > Vehicle code.
CHP : traffic "police officers" <--- ha. Vehicle Code > ALL.
Sherriffs = Depending on where, some get bored and like to harass modded cars.
Anybody local to San Diego interested in buying my stock Yokohama Advan A13C tires off my new Evo X MR? Size is 245/40R18. They have about 1300 miles on them today.
On Tire Rack, these go for $394 a tire brand new, or $1576 for a set of four. With shipping, you'd be over $1600.
I'm asking $600 for four tires.
(Tires are on the car right now, so if you're interested, you'd have to wait until I could get the car in for a tire change, a couple of days at the most.)
