Evo in LA?
its one of the "fun" cars to drive.. If you are looking for a car to get you from point a to point b, get something less. if you are wanting a car that gets you from point, jumps over point c, corners around point d, and does a small drift into the parking lot of point b. evo is a good choice. .. Honestly its a great car, stiff suspension and overall mr angry car. don't **** it off. it bites back.
It's a whole hell of a lot of fun. Mine's been in and out of the dealership for the last few weeks while they fix some scratches they put on it, so I've been driving a taurus rental in the meantime. Everytime I get my car back, I fall in love with it all over again.
Obsoleteasian is right though - don't **** it off. My wife gets along fine with her Cooper S, but had an argument with the Evo and won't drive it anymore. That's fine - more for me
I use it as a daily driver btw - about 50 miles a day on Orange County freeways during rush hour - and it puts a smile on my face every day. You have to want a no-compromise performance car though, or you're better off getting a G35C, or a 350Z which have similar levels of oomph, with a softer edge.
I wouldn't trade mine for anything short of an Audi RS6. Nothing else has the acceleration, handling, and hauling (4 doors) potential of the EVO.
Just my $.02
